Here is a summary list of some of the things we can help you with:

Research.
Investigating moving company options. If you are local we can meet with the moving companies to get an on site quote for you so you don’t mix work.

Need an inventory of all your items? We can do it! We’ll magically create a list of all your packing items, help organize the boxes by room and number them.

Don’t forget to organize the children’s school records, we can pick up and delivery the records or follow through for you with calls, faxes, etc.

Ordering supplies. You’ll need boxes and other supplies such as tape, Bubble Wrap, and permanent markers. Don’t forget to order specialty containers, such as dish barrels or wardrobe boxes. We can order them pick them up & delivery them or meet the suppliers when they drop them off.

6 weeks before you move start thinking about using up things that you don’t want to move, like
frozen or perishable foods and cleaning supplies

Need help preparing a farewell party? We LOVE helping people with parties. Consider us your personal concierge making things magically happen.

We can take measurements. Check room dimensions at your new home, and make sure larger pieces of furniture will fit through the door.

Need help packing? We can help pack and remind you of the little things, like getting additional insurance & to declare in writing any items value over $100/pound

We can clearly label and number each box with it’s contents & the room it’s destined for. This helps keep your inventory.

Don’t forget to pack & label “essentials” boxes of items you’ll need right away, like the Keurig!

We can take care of all your changes of address and look out for straggling mail after you’ve moved. We can help you notify magazine, newspapers, credit cards, banks, etc.

Don’t forget your medical records. We can pick them up or arrange to have them sent to your new provider.

Need someone to meet the movers on moving day? Errand Wizards can be there!

Tune up. You’ll want to service your car before you move. We can take the car to the garage for you, get it serviced, washed or detailed.

Don’t forget to ask the mechanic about your car & climate changes if you’re moving to a new climate.

We’ll contact the moving company & reconfirm the arrangements.

Refill prescriptions. Stock up on prescriptions you’ll need during the moving process. We’ll can pick them up and delivery them for you.

Pack your suitcases. Do you need help getting the kids organized during the move? We can help them pack their suitcases for the travel time.

We can meet the cleaning company. Don’t forget to defrost the freezer a couple of days before you move if you’re taking it with you!
